ZTE announced the Global Launch of its 7-inch HD Light Tab 2 tablet

Today, ZTE Corporation (Shenzhen, China) announced the global launch (twitted about an hour ago) of its second-generation ZTE Light Tab 2 tablet in Hong Kong, Spain and Indonesia. The global launch will continue in Europe, France, U.K. and in Asia in Malaysia from early 2012.

The Light Tab 2 is 12.6mm thin, and is equipped with a 7-inch (1024 x 600) WSVGA HD TFT display, powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm single core processor, 4GB of storage space and 512MB of memory. It comes with two cameras onboard, a 0.3MP CMOS front-facing camera and a 3MP rear camera with autofocus and 1.6x digital zoom. The tablet also supports Dolby surround sound and video playback formats including H.264, MPEG4 (720p) and Flash.

Onkyo announces the launch of its 10.1-inch SlatePad TA2C-Android 3.2 business tablet

On November 16th (2011), Onkyo announced the launch of its 10.1-inch SlatePad TA2C – Android 3.2 business tablet, in Japan.

 

 

The Onkyo SlatePad TA2C is powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 dual core Cortex A9 processor, 1GB LP-DDR2 (600MHz) memory and 16GB of flash storage. The tablet has a 10.1-inch (1280×800) wide TFT LED backlit glossy LCD capacitive display with 10-finger multi-touch support and two cameras – 2MP front and 5MP rear (with autofocus).

Panasonic announces Raboo UT-PB1 e-book tablet in Japan

Panasonic announced Raboo UT-PB1 e-book tablet in Japan.

The device comes in Rosie brown and has a 7-inch (1024×600) LCD wide-screen with 16:9 ratio. It features WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a USB 2.0 port, 1.3M CMOS camera, 2x 500mW stereo speakers, a web browser compatible with Adobe Flash and 8GB of storage. The storage space can be expanded up to 32GB by the micro SD/micro SDHC memory card reader. The e-book tablet is with body dimensions – 13.9mm × 206.0mm × 133.0mm and weighs about 400g.
