Sony Vaio VGN-FW41E notebook does not boot up, due to faulty keyboard.

 

 

Recently, we had a Sony Vaio VGN-FW41E (PCG-3H1M) notebook with an interesting problem. The user spilt a glass of wine on top of the keyboard and after disconnecting the battery he dried it with a hairdryer. Then the machine was brought to us for a check.

Dell Inspiron 13z notebook now available in South Korea

From a few days, Dell Inspiron 13z notebook is available through Dell’s website (Korea).

The Dell Inspiron 13z is a thin, stylish, light and powerful notebook packed with the new power efficient second-generation Intel Core i3/ i5/ i7 processor.  The standard model comes with a 2.2GHz Intel Core i3-2330M CPU, 2GB memory and 320GB hard drive. Its 13.3-inch (1366×768) HD WLED True-Life display is powered by Intel HD graphics 3000. In addition, a USB 3.0, USB2.0, 1MP webcam and Dell Wireless 1702 802.11 b/g/n + BT. The notebook weighs 1.755kg (3.87lbs) with its 4-cell Li-Ion 44WHr battery and is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (Korean).

ASUS announces the release of its 16GB Eee Pad Transformer TF101 tablet in Japan

One day ago, ASUS announced the release of its 16GB Eee Pad Transformer TF101-1B240A tablet in Japan (two months after the launch of its 32GB version of Eee Pad Transformer TF101 for the Japanese market).

The Eee Pad Transformer TF101 (Model: TF101-1B240A) comes with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb), NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB (eMMC) flash storage. The battery provides up-to about 9.5 hours of use on a single charge and with a connected docking keyboard (will be released separately), can extend to a maximum of about 16 hours. The tablet has an ultralight body which weighs about 680g.

Pioneer announces availability of its 17-inch DreamBook Power W17 in Australia

Pioneer announced availability of its 17-inch DreamBook Power W17 (Intel) for the Australian market.

The DreamBook Power W17 notebook comes with Intel i7, i5, i3 CPU, an HDD, Blu-ray Combo drive and up to 8GB (1066/1333MHz) DDR3 memory. Its 17-inch HD+ (1600×900) Crystal Bright Screen (with optional 17-inch Full-HD (1920×1080) is powered by Nvidia GeForce GT 555M (Optimus) with 2GB GDDR3 Video RAM (540M, 1G Optional).

In addition, the machines has THX TruStudio Pro audio, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, 9-in-1 Card Reader and is loaded with Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit. The laptop weighs around 3.1kg.
