Lenovo unveils its LePad S2005 tabletphone and LePad S2007 and S2010 tablets

Lenovo unveiled its LePad S2005 tabletphone and LePad S2007 and S2010 tablets in Beijing, China.

 

 

Lenovo’s upcoming LePad S2005 tabletphone has been unveiled, along with two new Lenovo tablets in Beijing, China.

The LePad S2005 has a 5-inch (800×480) LTPS display powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor and 1GB memory. The device has 2 cameras (1.3MP front and 5MP rear), micro HDMI, micro USB, and an HSPA+ modem. The device is 9.95mm thin and weighs 198g with its 1680mAh battery. It is loaded with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet gets Qualcomm Gobi 3000

Lenovo and Qualcomm announced that  now the Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet will come with Qualcomm’s Gobi 3000 technology. 

 

 

 

 

From yesterday, Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet became the first Android tablet with multi-carrier mobile broadband capabilities. The tablet will now offer (as an option) worldwide connectivity to business travelers with Qualcomm’s Gobi 3000 technology, which eliminates the need to change hardware so as to support different carriers or region standards. That technology will let users to connect to any major US carrier and will also support global roaming on EVDO and HSPA networks.

TESO Tablet Zpad Z10 and Tpad T10 announced at COMPUTEX

TESO EPC CO. LTD. launched its latest INTEL OakTrail Z670 products – Zpad Z10 and Tpad T10 at Taipei International Computer Show. The company also exhibited its Tablet PC line of products – Gpad G97, Lpad L10 and Teso P10 with INTEL Atom N455 CPU.

Both devices have 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen and built-in GPS navigation.  They supports 1080P high definition video. The machines run dual system – WINDOWS 7 and Android 3.0 (upgradable to Android 3.1) and can also be pre-installed with MeeGo. The  TESO T10 has the ultra-thin design and thickness almost equal to IPAD.  This is a rare quality of the X86 Tablet, which officially will began to ship in mid June this year.  Read the rest of this entry »
