Toshiba announce the release of its Spring 2012 notebook models

Toshiba announced the release of its Spring 2012 notebook models for the Japanese market.

 

Today, Toshiba released four new models of its dynabook R731 notebook series, one dynabook Qosmio T751 model, and a model  of its dynabook Qosmio T551 notebook line (all in two colors).

Toshiba’s dynabook R731 series notebook is the World’s lightest 13.3-inch notebook with an optical drive. The notebook comes with a slim, compact and lightweight magnesium alloy body, and weighs just 1.29kg. The dynabook R731 is equipped with the latest Intel Core i7/ i5 Sandy Bridge processors, up to 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory and 120GB of SSD or 640GB hard drive. It has a 13.3-inch HD (1366 x 768) TFT LCD LED backlit display (16:9), powered by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000.

Lenovo unveils its ThinkPad X1 Hybrid dual-CPU Dual-OS notebook

Lenovo unveiled its new ThinkPad X1 Hybrid – dual-CPU Dual-OS business notebook.

 

 

Today, Lenovo announced its ThinkPad X1 Hybrid business notebook (with up to 10 hours of battery life with integrated 4-cell and external slice 6-cell battery).

The ThinkPad X1 Hybrid notebook has a 13.3-inch high definition display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The Hybrid is powered by two processors and comes with a dual operating system. When in Windows 7, the notebook uses latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, 160GB SSD or 320GB (5400rpm) hard drive. And when you switch to IMM (Instant Media Mode) the notebook starts using a dual core Qualcomm processor, 16 GB of additional storage and a custom Linux-based OS.

LG signs with Intel to make its CINEMA 3D Smart TVs WiDi-enabled

LG signed with Intel to make its LG CINEMA 3D Smart TVs WiDi-enabled.

 

 

Today, LG and Intel signed an alliance to collaborate in enhancing LG’s CINEMA 3D Smart TVs with embedded Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. From next year LG will be the first to offer its CINEMA 3D Smart TVs will WiDi onboard. This convenient feature will eliminate the user’s need of purchasing a separate external WiDi adapter and will offer a more accessible way of sharing and viewing high-definition content (stored on Ultrabooks, notebooks and tablets) directly on LG’s CINEMA 3D Smart TVs.

LG gets ULTRA too with its new 13.3-inch LG Z330 Ultrabook-video

Finally LG gets ULTRA too – with its new 13.3-inch LG Xnote Z330 Ultrabook in South Korea.

 

 

Today, LG Electronics released its first Ultrabook – the LG Xnote Z330 (LG Z330), just in time for the holidays in South Korea.

The Ultra-powerful LG Xnote Z330 boots-up in just 9.9 seconds, measuring 14.7mm at its thinnest point the Ultrabook weighs only 1.21Kg. It has a compact display design – with its 13-inch HD display (with 8mm narrow bezel – Style by Blade) fitted into a 12-inch notebook form factor.

Toshiba announces its dynabook R631-W1TD Ultrabook-online in Japan

Toshiba announced its dynabook R631/W1TD Ultrabook model – for online sales in Japan.

 

The dynabook R631 (Winter 2011 Ultrabook) is equipped with a 1.80GHz Intel Core i7-2677M Quad Core Sandy Bridge processor (launched in Q2,2011), 4GB of DDR3 (1333MHz) PC3-10600 memory working in dual channel (from which 2GB is built-in onboard) and an SSD storage of 128GB (from which 100GB free space).

Onkyo launches its 14-inch R6 Series notebook with an optical drive in Japan

On November 16th, 2011, Onkyo launched its 14-inch R6 (retail model) and DR6 (3 – direct sales models) notebook with an optical drive, for the Japanese market.

 

Onkyo’s new R6 Series (R6A-BS25C7D) ultra-slim notebook is powered by 2.20GHz second-gen Intel Core i7-2670QM Quad Core processor (Sandy Bridge). The CPU was launched by Intel recently (Q4, 2011), and when using Turbo Boost 2.0, can go up to 3.10GHz (supports Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and has 6MB of Intel Smart Cache).

The Onkyo R6 comes with a 14.0-inch (1366 × 768) TFT LED backlit glossy LCD display, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 8GB of DDR3 memory working in dual channel, a 500GB hard drive and an optical drive.

Dell unveils its 14-inch XPS 14z notebook with an optical drive

Yesterday, Dell unveiled its 14-inch XPS 14z “Less Than an Inch Thin” notebook with an optical drive.

 

 

The new Dell XPS 14z is the thinnest fully featured 14-inch notebook with an internal optical drive and discrete graphics option. The XPS 14z delivers a powerful performance and stylish design. The notebook comes in anodized aluminum and magnesium alloy chassis with a palmrest in dark gray.

It is powered by Intel’s second-generation Core i5/ i7 processors, a 14-inch HD WLED display, a slot-load optical drive and NVIDIA graphics option. The XPS has a compact design – measures less than an inch thin and with a 14-inch HD display “Borders on Borderless” fitted into a 13-inch laptop form factor (offering 10 percent more viewing area than a 13.3-inch display).
